It has been earning rave reviews ever since it was established, and getting a table without a booking and no waiting is unheard of. This is one of the best places to have a xiao long bao.

The red bricked wall, stained windows and hanging lamps, HuTong presents a great elegant setting to sit down properly, eat and talk. But like every Chinese restaurant, the focus is less on the decor and more on the food.

The menu is extensive and it is not just limited to dumplings. The xiao long baos (spelled as Shao Long Bao in the menu) are a must try for obvious reasons. Fearing a dumpling overdose, the menu also includes a variety of delicious soups, noodles, meat and vegetable dishes in the Szechuan style. Chilli wontons, Peking noodles, scallop and eggplant hot pot are the non-dumpling highlights of the menu.

HuTong lives up to its reputation. Dumpling lovers, remember this address, you’ll be heading out here more than once. Don’t miss to read the highlights of the restaurant below–
