This is a hidden gem in Melbourne- wonderful staff and an overall a very hospitable, down to earth Turkish/Mediterranean cafe. And to top it all off, an excellent choice of food in the menu.

If you are there for a nice meal then you must go for their very popular dip platter along with the trio of dips with the most fluffy and soft bread that one can ever have. Also, their rice, wrapped in grape wine leaf, is as yummy as the calamari rings, and cheese rolled in pastry. Then for mains, we had the very moist lamb and chicken skewers with perfect cooked rice. To water it all down, the patrons can call for some excellent Turkish tea.

The décor is simple yet charming and you must be prepared to be blown away by excellent service bestowed by the owner/waiter. There were plenty of choices on the menu and if you don’t like Turkish you will still find something, as this place has something for everyone.
