Home to a lot of office workers, university students, and expatriates, it is a fairly casual, your run-of-the-mill-eat-and-run type of place.
The bold red walls, lettered with Thai characters, do not present a drop-dead, out of the world ambience. But that is not Ratee Thai’s aim. What it lacks for in ambience, it more than compensates for in the food. This is evident by the fact that if you step in a minute later than noon, you’ll have a hard time getting a seat here.
The menu is straightforward and varied. The Classics are the pad thai, spicy fried rice, tom yum and pad see ew (to name a few). There is a Wok Bar, which lets you choose your own type of meat, vegetables, sauce and noodle/rice. The Pad Thai and the Tom Yum are the favourites.
Ratee Thai cuts to the chase. With food uncannily honest to the cuisine and great service, it is bound to win your heart. Don’t miss to read the highlights of the restaurant below–
