Situated at the top of Curtin House, rooftop bar has some great views of Melbourne. People love coming here in summer to watch a movie, enjoy a few drink and cocktails and have a good time. The view on the city is awesome, the atmosphere is really cool and relaxed, the cocktails are simple but good. The bar remains open after the film as well, and usually a big crowd of people who didn’t have tickets for the movie come up as soon as it’s over. The popularity of the venue means it can be quite difficult to get a table, especially when the weather is good.
The food is great, with nice Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences. The Burger on Special has a beef patty, double cheese, onion rings, lettuce, mayo and BBQ sauce. The burger is quite a mouthful but it is oh so good. And it gets better with each bite. The onion rings had a nice crispy coating and the sauces marries well with each other. Another of their crowd pleaser is the Eggplant Chips. The crispy texture of both the eggplant chips and the potatoes goes well with their respective condiments of Harissa and Aioli.
