Wonderbao is no exception. Hidden amongst RMIT’s developments, it has been teeming with people ever since it opened up.
Wonderbao has a hipster ambience. The teeny tiny restaurant has an incredibly simple menu: bao and drinks. The range of baos is, in a word, huge. You can have barbecue pork bao, chicken bao, egg custard bao, roast pork bao and the gua bao. Our tip – grab a cup of warm soy milk to wash down your bao. Their soy milk is home-made and as fresh as it gets.
That is all there is to Wonderbao, and it is enough to make you fall in love with it.
PS. Avoid going there at the peak of the lunch time, it is completely filled with uni students and staff getting their daily bite. Don’t miss to read the highlights of the restaurant below–
